What will you learn?
The APM qualification provides candidates with recognition of a thorough understanding of project management. Real-world examples and case-study exercises will be used to accelerate learning. Topics of study include: project management in context, planning the strategy, executing the strategy, techniques, business and commercial, organisation and governance, people and the profession.
APM Project Fundamentals – 2 days – this qualification is relevant for anyone with little or no previous project management experience wishing to learn essential project management terminology and common language.
APM Project Management Qualification – 5 days – this qualification assesses all areas of project management, from strategic and commercial implications of their role, to the technical, organisational and people management skills required to participate effectively within a project team.
APM Project Management Qualification (P2 Practitioners Route) – 3 days – this is a fast- track APM Project Management Qualification that enables those project managers with a PRINCE2® Practitioner qualification, gained within the last 5 years, to acquire the APM Project Management qualification via a 3 day intensive format.

APM Project Fundamentals – 2 days
To achieve the APM Project Fundamentals certification, you must achieve a minimum pass mark of 60% .
You will sit a 1 hour multiple choice paper.
- Closed book
- A total of 60 questions
APM Project Management Qualification – 5 days
The APM Project Management Qualification exam lasts 3 hours and consists of 10 questions answered from a choice of 16.
Candidates need to achieve a minimum pass mark of 55%.
This is a closed book exam, so you won’t be allowed to have the official APM manual with you.
APM Project Management Qualification (P2 Practitioners route) – 3 days
- To achieve the fast track APM Project Management Qualification, you must achieve a minimum pass mark of 55%.
- There is a 2 hour closed book exam held at the end of the Day 3 of the course.
